Technology and Trust: Waypoints 41 to 45 of the 45

What are waypoints 41 to 45 in the Convergence Quotient 45 framework?

Waypoints 41 to 45 form the Technology and Trust area, practiced inside the All movements movement. Using AI to preserve the record while keeping discernment human. Each waypoint has journaling prompts a person answers in their own words and an AI stewardship safeguard that keeps discernment human.

About the Technology and Trust area

Using AI to preserve the record while keeping discernment human. The 45 Waypoints are nine areas of formation with five practices in each. They are not scores, levels, classes, or years, and no one is ranked by how many they have walked.

This area is practiced primarily inside the All movements movement of the Six Movements: Attend, Receive, Discern, Respond, Release, Steward, and then fruit over time.

41. Two Records

Keeping a locked source and a labeled working copy.

Journaling prompts: Is my source record locked, and is my working copy clearly labeled? Could I recover the original wording right now?

AI stewardship safeguard: Two records, never merged. The source record is locked; AI touches only the working copy.

How does AI stewardship protect a prophetic record? By keeping two records: a locked private source record in the person's own words, and a clearly labeled working copy where all AI assistance happens.

42. Source Fidelity Labels

Marking what a machine touched.

Journaling prompts: Which parts of this document were AI-assisted, and is that visible? Would a reader know what is mine and what is machine-formatted?

AI stewardship safeguard: Every AI-assisted artifact carries a visible label naming what the model did.

Should AI-assisted prophetic material be labeled? Always. Any transcription, formatting, or organizing done by a model is disclosed on the artifact itself.

43. No Machine Discernment

Refusing to let a model weigh a word.

Journaling prompts: Did I ask a model anything it should not answer? Where am I tempted to outsource judgment?

AI stewardship safeguard: AI may never rank meanings, declare a word to be from God, or decide whether something should be shared.

What is AI never allowed to do in Convergence Q45? Rank meanings, judge whether a word is from God, research a named person, draft messages to others, or decide that something is ready to share.

44. Privacy by Default

Sharing nothing unless it is chosen.

Journaling prompts: What in my journal is currently shareable, and did I intend that? Who has access, and when did I last check?

AI stewardship safeguard: Everything is private by default; sharing is an explicit, per-entry, revocable act.

Is prophetic journaling data private? Yes. Entries are private by default, sharing is explicit and revocable per entry, and private source records are excluded from every export.

45. Human Sign-Off

Requiring a person before anything leaves the system.

Journaling prompts: Who signed off on the last thing I sent, and how carefully? Did anything go out on the strength of AI output alone?

AI stewardship safeguard: Nothing publishes, sends, or shares on the strength of AI output alone.

Can AI send or publish anything by itself? No. Every outbound message, share, or publication requires an explicit human sign-off recorded in the entry.

How to walk this area

Take one waypoint at a time. Write the prompts out longhand or in a private journal entry, answer them in your own words, and lock the entry before doing anything else with it.

AI preserves the record. People discern the word. Every safeguard in this area exists to keep that sentence true in practice, not only in principle.
