Response and Proportion: Waypoints 16 to 20 of the 45

What are waypoints 16 to 20 in the Convergence Quotient 45 framework?

Waypoints 16 to 20 form the Response and Proportion area, practiced inside the Respond movement. Choosing the smallest faithful action in proportion to possible impact. Each waypoint has journaling prompts a person answers in their own words and an AI stewardship safeguard that keeps discernment human.

About the Response and Proportion area

Choosing the smallest faithful action in proportion to possible impact. The 45 Waypoints are nine areas of formation with five practices in each. They are not scores, levels, classes, or years, and no one is ranked by how many they have walked.

This area is practiced primarily inside the Respond movement of the Six Movements: Attend, Receive, Discern, Respond, Release, Steward, and then fruit over time.

16. Smallest Faithful Action

Naming the one thing that can be done today.

Journaling prompts: What is the smallest faithful action available to me now? What am I avoiding by planning something larger?

AI stewardship safeguard: AI may list options already written. It may not choose an action.

What is the smallest faithful action? The nearest, most modest step that honors what was received: often a prayer, a question, a practical kindness, or continued waiting.

17. Speak, Pray, Wait, Ask

Choosing the right kind of response.

Journaling prompts: Is the right response to speak, pray, wait, ask, serve, refer, or release? Why that one, rather than the others?

AI stewardship safeguard: AI may not draft a message to another person on the person's behalf.

Does every prophetic impression need to be spoken? No. Praying, waiting, asking a question, serving practically, referring to qualified care, or releasing it entirely are all faithful responses.

18. What Is in Your Hand

Using what has already been given.

Journaling prompts: What skill, relationship, time, means, or place is already in my hand? Which of those does this moment actually ask for?

AI stewardship safeguard: AI may inventory items the person listed. It may not propose new commitments.

What does What Is in Your Hand mean? It is the bridge between noticing and stewarding: seeing the skills, relationships, time, means, and place already given, and choosing one faithful use.

19. Impact Proportionality

Recording who could be affected.

Journaling prompts: Who could be affected, and how badly could this land if I am wrong? Does the possible impact require permission or professional care?

AI stewardship safeguard: Before any response leaves the journal, the entry records who could be affected. Higher impact requires slower timing and written permission.

How do I decide how carefully to respond? Match care to consequence. Impressions touching health, money, marriage, children, safety, or vocation require the slowest timing and widest counsel.

20. Referral

Knowing when to hand a situation to qualified care.

Journaling prompts: Does this involve medical, psychiatric, legal, or safety concerns? Who is the right professional, and do I have their details ready?

AI stewardship safeguard: Safety-related keywords trigger a referral prompt and never an AI answer.

When should a prophetic conversation be referred to a professional? Whenever medical, mental health, legal, abuse, or safety concerns appear. Referral is a faithful response, not a failure of faith.

How to walk this area

Take one waypoint at a time. Write the prompts out longhand or in a private journal entry, answer them in your own words, and lock the entry before doing anything else with it.

AI preserves the record. People discern the word. Every safeguard in this area exists to keep that sentence true in practice, not only in principle.
