About the Reception and Record area
Preserving the first impression exactly, before any later thought can overwrite it. The 45 Waypoints are nine areas of formation with five practices in each. They are not scores, levels, classes, or years, and no one is ranked by how many they have walked.
This area is practiced primarily inside the Receive movement of the Six Movements: Attend, Receive, Discern, Respond, Release, Steward, and then fruit over time.
6. First Words
Saving the exact word, phrase, or image received.
Journaling prompts: What were the very first words, before I explained them to myself? What would I lose if I paraphrased this?
AI stewardship safeguard: The private source record is locked once saved. All AI work happens on a labeled working copy.
How do I record a prophetic impression accurately? Write the exact wording of the first impression and lock it as a private source record; every later edit, summary, or AI assistance belongs in a separate labeled working copy.
7. Certainty Lines
Separating what was received from what was assumed.
Journaling prompts: What am I certain of, and what am I only assuming? Which details did I fill in to make the impression make sense?
AI stewardship safeguard: AI may highlight hedging language. It may not assign confidence levels to an impression.
How do I tell the difference between what I received and what I added? Mark every sentence as received, remembered, or inferred. Assumptions are usually the sentences that make the impression tidy.
8. Sensory Detail
Recording what was seen, heard, felt, read, remembered, or dreamed.
Journaling prompts: Through which sense did this arrive? What details am I already forgetting?
AI stewardship safeguard: AI may transcribe audio verbatim, with a source fidelity label. It may not embellish detail.
Does the way an impression arrives matter? Yes. Recording whether something came as words, an image, a Scripture, a memory, a dream, or a burden helps later discernment weigh it properly.
9. Scripture Alongside
Noting Scripture that came with the impression.
Journaling prompts: What Scripture came to mind, and did it come with the impression or after? Am I quoting the passage accurately and in context?
AI stewardship safeguard: AI may retrieve the full text of a reference the person supplied. It may not suggest supporting verses.
Should Scripture be recorded with a prophetic impression? Record any Scripture that arrived with the impression, noting whether it came during or after, and check the passage in its own context before leaning on it.
10. Sealing the Record
Locking the source record with a timestamp.
Journaling prompts: Is this entry complete enough that I could not honestly improve it later? Who else, if anyone, may read this record?
AI stewardship safeguard: Locked entries are append-only. Later corrections attach; they never replace.
Why lock a prophetic journal entry? Locking preserves the original wording so later confidence, embarrassment, or memory cannot quietly revise what was actually received.
How to walk this area
Take one waypoint at a time. Write the prompts out longhand or in a private journal entry, answer them in your own words, and lock the entry before doing anything else with it.
AI preserves the record. People discern the word. Every safeguard in this area exists to keep that sentence true in practice, not only in principle.
